Description
West Ada School District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified public works contractors for large-scale interior and exterior painting projects at District school and support facilities. The anticipated work includes mobilization, surface preparation, coating application, protection of occupied areas, access equipment, containment and environmental controls, coordination with District operations, phased or off-hours work, cleanup, punch-list completion, warranties, and related painting improvements. This is Phase One of a two-stage Category B public works procurement under Idaho Code section 67-2805(2)(b), intended to establish a pool of prequalified contractors for five years. No pricing or bid security is required at this stage. Prequalified contractors may later receive project-specific sealed-bid invitations, with awards based on the lowest responsive bid. The SOQ will be evaluated on qualifications and comparable experience, personnel and capacity, technical competence, performance history, safety, references, and submission quality.
