Description
The Town of Stratford is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide on-call painting services for interior and exterior projects at town buildings and public school facilities. The scope includes labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, site preparation, paint removal and debris disposal, priming and painting, power washing, site cleanup, and related repairs. Individual projects will be performed on an as-needed basis and may not exceed $100,000 per project. The bid requests unit pricing for interior painting, transparent wood finishes, exterior painting, window preparation and painting, porch-surface painting, window reglazing, lead paint abatement, exterior power washing, and carpentry or wood repairs. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of industry experience, provide at least three comparable project references, identify proposed subcontractors and labor rates, comply with applicable OSHA and permitting requirements, and maintain a local facility. The Town may award to multiple bidders. The initial contract term is 12 months commencing upon award, with discretionary renewal options. Required insurance includes workers' compensation, $1,000,000 automobile liability, commercial general liability with specified limits, and a $5,000,000 umbrella policy. A completed bid package includes the bid forms, acknowledged addenda, references, subcontractor information, exceptions, W-9, and non-collusion affidavit.
