Description
Iowa State University and its Office of Student Financial Aid are requesting information from qualified private lenders seeking inclusion on the university's Preferred Lender List for international students. The university expects to display three to five lenders and will evaluate offerings based on borrower eligibility requirements, SSN or ITIN requirements, U.S. cosigner requirements and release options, interest-rate calculations, fees, enrollment eligibility, prior-term balance repayment, borrower incentives, access restrictions, website usability, financial-literacy resources, school-dedicated support, parent loans, refinance loans, no-cosigner loans, and prior student-lending history. Respondents must complete the online questionnaire and provide applicable loan-offering information, a company profile, relevant experience from the past five years, three references, exceptions, subcontractor information, contractor certification, confidential-information designations, supplier information, and any applicable cost information. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with two possible additional one-year renewals by mutual written consent.
