Description
Iowa State University and its Office of Student Financial Aid are requesting information from qualified private lenders seeking inclusion on the University's Preferred Lender List for the January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, contract term, with two additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual written consent. The list will serve undergraduate and graduate students, veterinary medicine students, and parents or other third-party borrowers, and will display three to five selected lenders along with borrower benefits, lender contact information, and online application links. Respondents must address loan availability and terms, including co-signer requirements and release options, interest-rate calculations, origination fees, enrollment eligibility, prior-term-balance repayment, borrower incentives, access restrictions, parent and refinance products, financial-literacy resources, school-dedicated support, and lending history. Lenders must be able to use the iLink certification/routing platform and iLinkCDS. The response also requires company information, relevant experience from the past five years, three references, subcontractor and exception disclosures, and descriptions of applicable undergraduate, graduate, veterinary medicine, and parent or third-party loan offerings.
