Description
The City of Gastonia is soliciting proposals from qualified financial institutions to provide installment financing for the acquisition of various governmental vehicles and equipment, including trucks, mowers, police vehicles and upfits, refuse trucks, public safety radios, and IT equipment. The principal amount will not exceed $4,086,498, and responders may propose bank-eligible and non-bank-eligible financing options. The desired financing term is 59 months with a fixed interest rate and substantially level debt-service payments made annually or semiannually in arrears. Proposals must include repayment terms, debt-service schedules, prepayment terms, all financing-related fees, proceeds-investment and disbursement procedures, and contact information for ongoing agreement management. The City expects closing by December 10, 2026.
