Description
Buffalo Public Schools' Division of Plant Services and School Planning is soliciting proposals from qualified professional design firms to perform the required 2027 New York State Education Department Building Condition Survey and assessment across approximately 8.4 million square feet of district facilities. The work includes physical site surveys of all facilities, review of building documentation, condition ratings for building systems, a customized database, building and district reports, facility report cards, photographs including 360-degree images, scoping plans and markups, documentation of critical areas, and a prioritized summary of health, safety, and welfare deficiencies with associated costs. The consultant must include at least one licensed architect or engineer on the inspection team, and one prime consultant must coordinate the work of any supporting firms or subcontractors. The selected firm will also prepare and upload the survey to the New York State Education Department, provide electronic and hard-copy deliverables, complete BPS building summary spreadsheets, and perform related document digitization and archival services if proposed. Responses must include a cost proposal, relevant experience, organizational and staffing information, project schedule, personnel-hour estimates, insurance statements, proof of New York State disability insurance, and other required response materials.
