Description
Westwood Community School District seeks a contractor to remove existing roofing down to the deck and install a new two-ply modified bitumen roof system on designated roof sections at Thorne Elementary School. The work includes insulation, flashing, coping and counter-flashing, roof drainage details, and related accessories. Bidders must provide separate base and alternate prices for the specified roof sections, unit prices for potential decking and related repairs, and estimated quantities for Garland-supplied roofing materials that the District will purchase directly. The contractor is responsible for labor, equipment, installation, and coordination of the work; the specifications also require manufacturer inspections and warranties, a three-year contractor workmanship warranty, and performance and payment bonds from the successful contractor.
