Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation seeks a contractor to reroof a maintenance building, residence, and detached garage. The work includes removing and disposing of existing roofing, replacing deteriorated or missing roof sheathing and wood trim as needed, and installing new roofing assemblies. The maintenance building receives a TPO membrane roof; the residence and garage receive asphalt-shingle roofs, and the shed roof beside the garage receives corrugated metal roofing. Related work includes flashing, gutters, roof penetrations, and associated repairs. The project manual specifies a single prime contract, a required C-39 roofing contractor license, and an engineer’s estimate of $232,483. The contract term is 365 calendar days from notice to proceed, with the work to be completed within 90 calendar days from the formal start-work date. A mandatory pre-bid site showing is required to submit a bid.
