Description
The City of Westland is soliciting professional services for improvements at a playground. The scope includes applying approved organic weed killer, excavating and hauling existing wood chips and soil, grading for drainage, installing landscape barrier and approximately four inches of certified play bark, pine bark, or light brown wood chips, and securing the barrier around existing play structures. The work also includes temporarily removing and reinstalling an existing park bench on new concrete footings, ensuring it is level. Proposals must include pricing on the supplied bid forms, demonstrate experience, qualifications, capacity, methodology or work plan, comparable completed projects, cost, and past performance. The project is federally funded and requires compliance with prevailing-wage, Community Development Block Grant, HUD, Davis-Bacon, Section 3, equal-employment, recordkeeping, and related requirements.
