Description
Springfield Public Schools is soliciting competitive bids for recurring inspection services for fire alarm panels and associated fire-protection devices across district schools and facilities. The scope includes inspection and testing of main fire alarm panels, batteries, smoke and heat detectors, duct and beam detectors, pull stations, annunciators, audio-visual notification devices, door holders, waterflow and tamper switches, elevator-recall systems, fire-rated doors/windows/shutters, air-handler or exhaust-fan interfaces, speakers, strobes, and related equipment across multiple Simplex systems. Labor must be included in the per-inspection pricing, and bidders must provide a detailed description of proposed services, company information, organizational references, staffing information, business hours, emergency-call procedures, website and ordering contact information, and other required bid-attribute responses. The resulting non-exclusive contract has a one-year initial term with up to four additional one-year renewals; the District may add or remove buildings or services as needed.
