Description
Springfield Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids for all labor and materials required to replace the storm-damaged roof system and damaged metal siding at Williams Elementary School. The scope includes a base bid for roof and siding replacement, an optional unit price for removal and replacement of damaged metal roof deck, and an allowance for District-directed work. Bidders must describe their proposed services, company experience, organizational references, workforce, local-government experience, business hours, emergency-response provisions, proposed start and completion times, and manufacturer accreditation. The solicitation requires a 5% bid guaranty and payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of the contract sum. Work must comply with Missouri prevailing-wage and construction-safety requirements, and bidders must provide manufacturer and product submittals, applicable licensing and business-license documentation, and required insurance. Responses must include the specified forms, bid information, qualifications, and attachments through the e-bidding system by the stated deadline.
