Description
The Town of Waterford Utility Commission is soliciting bids for Phase II improvements to access routes within a cross-country sanitary sewer easement. The work includes clearing a 20-foot-wide area from the intersection of Boston Post Road and the sewer easement south to Rope Ferry Road, stump grinding, selective vegetation removal, restoration of disturbed grassed and wetland areas, erosion control, traffic regulation, and related incidental work. The project is a lump-sum public works construction contract. Contractors must maintain existing sewer services and access, obtain required construction permits, comply with Connecticut prevailing-wage requirements, and provide required bid security, bonds, insurance, safety planning, scheduling, and coordination. The work must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed.
