Description
The City of Norwich is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms for survey and design services supporting Phase 1 rehabilitation of approximately 0.41 miles of Hunters Road between Norwich Avenue (CT Route 12) and Laporte Drive. The scope includes full-depth roadway reconstruction, pavement widening, realignment of the Maennerchor Avenue intersection, improvements at Norwich Avenue, drainage and hydraulic/hydrologic analysis, and replacement of Bridges/Culverts 103018 and 103019. The selected consultant will perform Class A-2 baseline, general location, and Class T-2 topographic surveying; prepare 50%, 90%, and final plans and specifications; address permitting and right-of-way acquisition costs; coordinate with the City and Connecticut Department of Transportation; comply with LOTCIP, CTDOT design and drainage requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements; and deliver bid-ready contract documents, construction cost estimates, and final AutoCAD files. Proposals must include a cover letter, project team, relevant experience, scope and methodology, phase-based cost breakdown, hourly rates, and required forms and certifications, including non-collusion, EEO, CT DAS prequalification documentation, and insurance certificates.
