The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is transitioning to the Business Application Solution (BAS), which involves migrating acquisition and financial systems, including the move to the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). There will be a temporary blackout period for invoice submissions from September 12, 2026, to approximately October 21, 2026. Contractors are encouraged to submit invoices early, and after the migration, all invoices must be submitted through IPP at www.ipp.gov. Contractors must maintain an active SAM.gov registration and ensure their company is enrolled in IPP.
