Description
Montgomery County Public Schools is soliciting proposals for scalable, fiber-based Internet access and associated transport delivered directly to one or both designated district data centers. The service must provide full-duplex logical throughput beginning at 60 Gbps and scaling through 500 Gbps. Respondents must provide pricing for 60 Gbps and each 10 Gbps increment through 500 Gbps, identify E-rate-ineligible components separately, provide reasonable cost allocations, and include a valid SPIN/498 ID. The procurement covers Category 1 data transmission and Internet access services for the district and its eligible entities. Price of eligible services is the primary evaluation factor, and award is subject to required approvals, including Board of Education approval. Proposals must comply with Maryland law, district procurement requirements, the attached solicitation materials, incorporated general contract articles, and all addenda.
