Description
The Town of Hampton is soliciting sealed bids from federally and/or state-licensed landfill, transfer station, or incinerator facilities to receive, weigh, and dispose of municipal solid waste delivered by the Town. The scope includes disposal of refuse, bulky waste, contaminated recyclables, and incidental small quantities of residential construction and demolition debris that meet the stated definition of refuse. Hauling to the disposal facility is excluded and will be provided separately. The provider must have sufficient permitted capacity, labor, equipment, and materials to handle the waste in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Bidders must submit a per-ton rate covering all ownership, operation, maintenance, repair, closure, and post-closure costs. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with an anticipated annual volume similar to the 7,361–7,767 tons generated in 2024 and 2025. Bidders must provide a summary of qualifications, three comparable-service references, and copies of licenses for all receiving and processing facilities involved.
