Description
The City of Fulshear is soliciting a contractor to provide comprehensive solid waste collection and disposal services. The scope includes weekly municipal solid waste and recycling collection using 95-gallon carts; weekly bulk and brush collection; commercial dumpster service for containers ranging from 2 to 8 cubic yards and frequencies from one to five collections per week; cart replacement and additional-cart services; and applicable fuel recovery, locking-device, and disposal charges. Additional requirements include handicapped-assistance house-side collection, municipal dumpster service, community cleanups using 40-yard roll-off containers, Christmas tree recycling, disaster-response rates for multiple truck and container types, roll-off containers for construction debris and solid waste, and 20- and 40-yard compactors. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, vehicles, carts, containers, transportation, disposal, supervision, complaint tracking, and service-response resources necessary to perform the work. Equipment must be clearly marked, safely maintained, regularly sanitized, and operated without leaking or scattering waste; disposal must comply with applicable state and federal regulations. Proposals must include qualifications, relevant experience, at least three similar references from the past five years, proposed approach, equipment and disposal information, pricing, exceptions, and required forms.
