Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research for a single-award, indefinite-delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed pricing for solid waste disposal services supporting Federal Correctional Complex Pollock. The anticipated structure is one base year plus four additional 12-month option years. The government estimates approximately 1,680 tons of solid waste annually, including nonhazardous trash, garbage, and construction debris, with no guaranteed quantities. The contractor must operate a permitted disposal facility approved by the Louisiana Department of Health and Environment, comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and EPA requirements, and provide all supplies other than government-furnished dumpsters and compactors. The facility must be within a 50-mile one-way radius of FCC Pollock. The contractor will assume ownership of accepted nonhazardous waste, lawfully dispose of it, and provide tonnage documentation for each delivery. Deliveries are estimated twice daily Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. local time, excluding federal holidays.
