Cirrus Academy Charter School is soliciting proposals for construction of an 84-by-50-foot, 4,200-square-foot reinforced concrete basketball court pad. The work includes mobilization, site verification, excavation and grading, positive drainage, subgrade compaction to at least 95% Standard Proctor Density, installation of a 4-to-6-inch compacted crusher-run base, and a minimum 5-inch reinforced concrete slab. The contractor must provide reinforcing mesh and/or #4 rebar, control and expansion joints, a smooth broom athletic-grade finish, restoration of disturbed areas, construction-debris removal, and a minimum one-year workmanship warranty. Proposals must include company information, lump-sum pricing, estimated start and completion dates, references from similar projects, proof of insurance, and contractor license information. Evaluation is based on cost, experience, references, and schedule.
