Description
The Brownsville Navigation District d/b/a the Port of Brownsville is soliciting proposals for monthly, facility-wide HVAC preventive maintenance. Required tasks include replacing air filters; washing mini-split filters; lubricating bearings; inspecting coils, drain lines, drain pans, capacitors, relays, wiring, terminals, ducts, and air distribution; checking refrigerant pressures and fan operation; clearing drainage clogs; greasing fan motors when needed; cleaning electrical enclosures; and adjusting thermostat schedules when requested. The vendor must supply the filters, lubricants, and oils needed for the maintenance work, while repairs outside the listed tasks will be quoted separately. The vendor must also assess all current HVAC units, document their condition, and propose a comprehensive timeline for repairs and replacements. Addendum 1 provides a comprehensive inventory of the existing equipment across the facilities, including unit models, capacities, brands, dates, and locations. Proposals will be evaluated on vendor experience, technician availability, cost value, client service, and references. The initial agreement is for one year, with up to two additional one-year extensions. Required submission materials include the Respondent's Acknowledgment Form, Vendor Registration and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Government Code Chapter 2270 and 2252 Disclosure Statement, Statement of Non-Collusion, and proof of insurance.
