Description
Brazosport Independent School District is soliciting a contractor to provide district-wide preventive maintenance and repair for school buses and other fleet vehicles. The scope includes air-conditioning, body and mechanical work, brakes, cooling systems, electrical troubleshooting, glass replacement, hydraulic and muffler repairs, oil changes, roadside service, diagnostics, tire repair and rotation, gasoline and diesel tune-ups, transmission service, wheel alignment and balancing, general shop labor, parts and repair discounts, wrecker service, wheelchair-lift repairs, exhaust-pipe replacement, machine-shop work, and related bus services. The solicitation includes pricing for individual services, labor rates, percentage discounts, catalog or price-list information, and response-time information. Vendors must address business tenure, subcontracting, ASE-certified technicians, and applicable Texas Education Code requirements. The contract term is one year, with options to renew for up to two additional one-year periods.
