Description
The Town of Fairview Park is soliciting sealed bids for one contract division covering wellfield and distribution system improvements. The work includes installing a manual transfer switch and associated electrical connection for a temporary trailer-mounted emergency generator, 651 radio-read meters, a meter antenna and receiver for data collection, and four distribution-system isolation valves. The scope also includes site restoration such as drive and sidewalk repairs and seeding, along with all required construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and incidental work. Bids must use the forms included in the specifications and include the information required by Indiana Form 96, including a financial statement. A certified check or acceptable bidder's bond of at least 5% of the highest aggregate bid is required; performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price are required at contract execution. The project is expected to receive federal assistance and is subject to applicable prevailing wage, nondiscrimination, Section 3, Build America, Buy America, and related federal and Indiana requirements.
