Description
North Montgomery Community School Corporation is soliciting proposals for a fully managed, leased lit standalone data transmission service connecting Pleasant Hill Elementary School, Lester B. Sommer Elementary School, and Sugar Creek Elementary School to a network head-end at North Montgomery High School. The requested service is approximately 10 Gbps per connection, with separate pricing for each site and the ability to change service levels during the contract term. The request is technology neutral and may accommodate fiber, hybrid, cable, DSL, copper, satellite, or microwave solutions, although fiber handoffs are requested. Proposals must describe the network topology, transmission medium, pathways, handoffs, onsite provider equipment, and whether connections are dedicated or aggregated. Respondents must provide a WAN diagram, proposed SLA, 99.99% availability efforts, latency, jitter, packet-loss, contention and oversubscription commitments, 24/7/365 support, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, and service reporting. Responses must include detailed recurring and nonrecurring pricing, a completion timeline supporting service delivery by July 1, three similar reference sites, the provider's E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract. The applicant seeks a three- or five-year contract, with voluntary extensions permitted, subject to E-Rate funding and an applicant-issued notice to proceed.
