Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a small-business contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, reagents, management, and supervision for a boiler water treatment program covering sixteen low-pressure steam boilers across six locations, plus monitoring and treatment of one cooling tower. The contractor must develop comprehensive treatment and monitoring programs, conduct monthly service visits and written reporting, perform field testing and laboratory analysis, provide operator training and test equipment, and supply chemicals including polymer treatment, sodium bisulfite, and neutralizing amines. The contract is a firm-fixed-price arrangement with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Quotes must include completed pricing for all line items and options, a signed solicitation, a technical narrative and work schedule, at least three consecutive years of relevant boiler-water-treatment experience supported by three similar contracts, and documentation demonstrating availability of the required chemicals. The procurement is a 100% small-business set-aside under NAICS 325998. Amendment 0001 extends the offer deadline to October 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CDT, and extends the questions deadline to October 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CDT.
