Description
Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms for the Cogen Integration to New WRF project. The scope involves integrating the Maintenance and Operations Building, Cogeneration Facility, Waste Activated Sludge Thickening Building, Blower Building, Electrical Building, and Fan House Building through a 13.8 kV electrical loop connected to designated switchgear at the water reclamation facility. Services include pre-design and preliminary engineering, permitting and utility coordination, equipment pre-purchase evaluation, 60%, 90%, and final design, stamped and sealed plans and specifications, cost estimates, bidding assistance, pre-bid meeting and bid-opening support, bid review, construction administration, submittal and RFI review, change-order support, commissioning, punch-list and substantial-completion documentation, as-built drawings, and project closeout. The proposal must include qualifications, similar project experience, key personnel, project approach and schedule, a separate itemized cost proposal, compliance with the professional services agreement and insurance requirements, exceptions if applicable, electronic-payment information, and required ethics acknowledgments.
