Description
Phoenix Elementary School District #1 seeks a qualified provider to operate three to four specialized classrooms at Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School, serving up to 10 students per classroom, with flexibility for up to two additional students per classroom when authorized. The program must provide structured, therapeutic educational services for students with significant emotional disabilities and intensive behavioral needs, including individualized academic instruction, behavioral intervention, social-emotional support, crisis prevention and intervention, progress monitoring, and transition or reintegration planning. The contractor will provide qualified multidisciplinary staffing, program administration, substitute and vacancy coverage, specialized behavioral and sensory materials and equipment, staff training, data collection, incident and monthly program reporting, and collaboration with District personnel on IEP implementation, meetings, curriculum, related services, family communication, student safety, and transportation coordination. The proposal must include a technical response describing the program model, staffing, schedules, behavioral methodology, IEP implementation, intake and transition processes, implementation plan, qualifications, references, and quality assurance, along with a separate cost proposal. The initial contract term is one calendar year, with up to four additional 12-month extensions.
