Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is soliciting unit-price bids for construction and installation of park amenities at Cedar Lake. Work includes boardwalk and pier structures, a shelter, benches, bike racks, picnic tables, trash receptacles, park signage, floating vegetated islands, and associated railings. The project also includes trail and sidewalk reconstruction, excavation, storm sewer work, concrete paving and retaining walls, soil remediation, planting and seeding, erosion control, and general site restoration. The engineer's estimated project cost is $3,790,000. Bidders must provide unit prices through the online bid platform and submit the required bid security and Bidder Status Form. The work has a substantial-completion milestone of September 15, 2027, and final completion is required by June 30, 2028.
