Description
The Town of Prosper is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for construction of four lanes of an ultimate six-lane concrete, curb-and-guttered, divided roadway on Coit Road from Prosper Trail to 1,400 feet north of Frontier. The work includes demolition and roadway excavation; lime-stabilized subgrade or aggregate base; reinforced concrete and asphalt pavement; curbs, gutters, sidewalks, ramps, retaining walls, landscaping, irrigation, pavement markings, traffic control, waterline improvements, storm drainage boxes, reinforced concrete pipe, inlets, manholes, headwalls, erosion control, and related utility and intersection work. The solicitation includes separate bid sections for Town of Prosper items, City of Celina items, and shared TxDOT intersection items. The engineer's estimate is $18,742,316.68. Proposers must submit pricing for all bid lines, qualifications and experience information, key-personnel resumes, a completed projects and references worksheet, and an actual construction project schedule. The solicitation requires at least three comparable completed projects within the previous five years and additional verifiable comparable-project references. A 5% bid bond or cashier's check is required with the proposal; the successful contractor must provide a 115% performance bond, 100% payment bond, 100% maintenance bond, and required insurance after award.
