Description
The City of Livonia seeks a contractor for a one-year term to design, typeset, proof, print, sort, and deliver up to three issues of its Connections magazine during 2027. Each issue will have at least 60 pages, with pricing requested for 60-, 64-, and 68-page versions and for additional copies in increments of 1,000. The base quantity is 42,000 copies per issue, printed in four color on 70-pound gloss text stock, in either 8.5-by-11-inch or 8-by-10-inch format, with fold stitching, stapling, and packaging. The City will provide editorial content, photos, graphics, and design direction. The contractor must provide proofs and incorporate revisions, then set up carrier-route sorting and deliver the magazines to the specified post office branches; approximately 1,000 copies are for nonresident mailing, and extra issues go to the recreation center. The bid form also requests optional pricing for a one-year renewal in 2028.
