Description
The City seeks a contractor to remove and dispose of designated trees, including standing dead or diseased trees, and grind designated stumps in its parks. Work includes cleanup and debris disposal, backfilling and restoring affected areas with topsoil and seed, and repairing damage caused by the work. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, safety measures, and a minimum four-person field crew, and provide written progress updates. Emergency tree and stump removal may also be requested as needed. Bidders must submit prices using the provided proposal form, including unit prices by tree and stump diameter for 2027 and optional extension years. A 5% bid bond is required. The contract includes two optional one-year extensions by mutual agreement; the initial program must be completed within 60 calendar days of contract execution and no later than August 31, 2027.
