Description
The California Highway Patrol seeks a contractor to provide protective clothing and operational supply rental services for its Fresno Area Office. Items include uniform shirts, trousers, jackets and coveralls; floor mats; shop towels and automotive shop rags; and fender covers. The contractor must provide initial uniform sizing and setup, weekly pickup and delivery of soiled and clean items, laundering and sanitizing, inspection and necessary repairs, replacement of worn items, and quarterly inventory. The bid form also requests unit rental and replacement rates and uniform setup fees. The solicitation requires bidders to demonstrate relevant experience and provide three client references. A single award is anticipated to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, but eligible DVBE participation may receive an incentive. Proof of liability insurance is required before agreement execution, not with the bid.
