Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids for broadband conduit system utility locating and GPS services covering approximately 52 miles of existing conduit and structures within the city limits. The work includes standard and clear locates, GPS correction mapping and redlines, business-hours and after-hours emergency locating, site surveillance and utility standbys, damage investigations, audits, structure and facility inspections, and special projects. The contractor must also provide trace-wire installation, ground-bar and ground-rod installation, equipment and materials, permits, licenses, supervision, disposal, and site restoration. Bidders must document prior locating experience within the City's broadband conduit system, damage-investigation procedures, 24/7/365 emergency-response capability, available equipment, and experience using ESRI Field Maps. The contract is for a one-year term with three additional one-year renewal options.
