Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet's Office of Building and Mechanical Services, is soliciting a contractor to provide comprehensive snow and ice management for the L&N Building vehicle-use and pedestrian areas in Louisville. The contractor must furnish all materials, equipment, transportation, labor, and supervision, including four-wheel-drive trucks with snow plows and salt spreaders, a skid-steer loader, sodium chloride, manual sidewalk clearing, pretreatment, plowing, deicing, snow piling, and related storm response activities. Bidders must submit prices for all line items and provide equipment make/model specifications, response-time capabilities, experience information, and vendor representative contact details. Services include monitoring weather conditions, maintaining communications during snow events, responding to agency call-backs within 45 minutes, and submitting storm logs after events. The initial contract period is one year from award through August 31, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals.
