Description

The Peachtree City Airport Authority is soliciting sealed bids for the supply, installation, wiring, integration, testing, commissioning, training, and warranty support of communications and weather equipment for the new Atlanta Regional Airport-Falcon Field Air Traffic Control Tower. The scope includes a fully operational system compliant with the Federal Contract Tower FAA Minimum Equipment List, a digital Automated Terminal Information System (ATIS), an airfield lighting control panel, a secondary weather wind sensor tower and complete associated foundation and electrical work, cabling, equipment racks, antennas, and related infrastructure. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment and coordinate the work with applicable airport and FAA requirements. Bidders must provide evidence of at least three comparable installations completed within the last five years and copies of FCC radiotelephone licenses for radio certification. The contractor is responsible for a three-year written warranty covering maintenance, labor, materials, and repair or replacement of defective materials and workmanship. Covered failures generally must be addressed within the specified response and restoration periods, with noncritical repairs potentially allowed additional time. Addendum No. 2 also confirms that the police/fire transceiver installation is an additive alternate, the cab window shades are nonmotorized manual shades, and the awarded contractor is responsible for the complete secondary weather system.
