The City of Caldwell is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional design, construction documentation, and federal coordination services for a new sponsor-owned Federal Contract Airport Traffic Control Tower at Caldwell Executive Airport. The selected firm will translate the approved FAA siting report into an executable architectural and engineering package for the recommended Site 2 location. The scope includes civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and FAA coordination services. The design must address an eight-sided, 450-square-foot control cab oriented southwest, with a 10-by-12-inch mullion framework and seven-degree cab rotation, localized seismic and wind loads, obstruction lighting under FAA Advisory Circular 70/7460-1M, physical security under FAA Order 1600.69 Appendix G, and support for NEPA documentation and Airport Layout Plan updates. The project also includes associated access, utilities, parking, fencing, and related tower facilities. The solicitation requests a Statement of Qualifications and permits submission through the procurement portal or by physical delivery.
