Fayette County, Georgia is seeking a contractor to prune and trim overhanging limbs along approximately 12.5 miles of specified county roads, with trimming generally required up to 70 feet above the roadway and back to the mature tree line. The scope also includes removing small trees within the county right-of-way, removing all trees in a specified section of Jenkins Road, identifying and reporting dead or hazardous trees, and cleaning up and removing debris within 72 hours of cutting and before each weekend. The contractor must provide all equipment, personnel, materials, and traffic control; comply with MUTCD, GDOT, and applicable Special Provision 150 requirements; and use a Giraffe Tree Trimmer or similar machine capable of reaching 70 feet. Boom lifts are not accepted as a similar machine type. Quotes must include lump-sum pricing by road, estimated commencement time after notice to proceed, and estimated project completion time. The solicitation requires company information, an E-Verify contractor affidavit, pricing sheet, exceptions form, three similar-project references, and signed addenda if issued. Work must be completed and invoiced by June 15, 2026, although the solicitation is dated September 2026 and this date appears internally inconsistent.
