Description
Fayette County, Georgia, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from Georgia Department of Transportation-prequalified consultant teams for a multi-phase, project-specific contract covering the design and development of approximately 1.3 miles of multi-use path along Sandy Creek Road. The selected consultant will prepare plans, specifications, and estimates and provide project management through concept development, environmental documentation, database and survey preparation, preliminary and final plans, right-of-way plans and acquisition support, geotechnical services, and construction services. The scope includes traffic and crash analysis, public involvement, environmental studies and permitting, utility coordination, drainage and hydraulic analysis, roadway, lighting, signing, landscaping, bridge and erosion-control plans as applicable, construction inspection and testing support, cost estimating, quality control and quality assurance, and coordination with Fayette County, the City of Fayetteville, and the Georgia Department of Transportation. The prime consultant and team must satisfy the specified GDOT area-class prequalification requirements. Phase I requires a Statement of Qualifications; only shortlisted firms will be asked to submit a Phase II technical approach, with past performance considered during final selection.
