Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is soliciting bids from firms pre-qualified under its Routine Maintenance Services Category and holding the applicable Maintenance Master Services Agreement to perform pavement preservation and maintenance services on Interstate 20/SR 402 eastbound and westbound in Fulton County, from approximately mileposts 51 to 58. The project consists primarily of 1.5-inch spot milling and asphalt inlay at specified mainline and ramp locations, with replacement of damaged or removed striping, debris removal, and all required traffic control. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, traffic control, licenses, permits, and qualified personnel. Work is scheduled during nighttime hours, generally 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on weekdays and from Friday night through Monday morning on weekends. The contractor must begin work no later than 30 days after the mandatory prework meeting and complete it no later than 90 days after that meeting. The bid response must include the completed and signed ITB Bid Form, Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit, and Tax Compliance Form; performance and payment bonds, insurance evidence, licenses, and detailed work plans are required from the intended awardee after bid close.
