The Peachtree City Airport Authority is soliciting a contractor to provide a complete, operational air traffic control tower communications and weather equipment system at Atlanta Regional Airport–Falcon Field. The scope includes a voice communications control system; VHF transmitters, receivers, backup transceivers, antennas, filters, and handheld radios; voice recording; GPS-synchronized clock; automated terminal information system and interface equipment; secondary weather sensors and display; emergency telephone service; uninterruptible power supplies; signal light gun; aircraft counter; controller chairs; flight-strip bays and holders; binoculars; motorized cab window shades; an airfield lighting control panel; cabling, wiring, racks, and related accessories. The contractor must furnish labor, tools, materials, equipment, installation, wiring, integration, testing, commissioning, training, warranty support, and required documentation. The work includes coordination with FAA communications services, site acceptance testing, controller training, equipment manuals, as-built drawings, and operation and maintenance documentation. Bidders must demonstrate comparable experience at at least three locations within the past five years and provide FCC radiotelephone licensing documentation and relevant references. The base contract includes a 90-calendar-day completion period from the Notice to Proceed; add alternates cover five years of annual system inspections, VCCS spare parts, and a police/fire transceiver.
