Description
The City of Charleston is soliciting traffic controller services and related equipment. The scope lists 130 Q-Free 2070ATC LDX controllers with MaxTime Local Traffic Software and a Linux operating system, associated CPU, field I/O, front-panel, and power-supply modules, spare parts, front-panel software site licensing, maintenance and support, a TL-WR702N wireless router or equal, an Apple iPad Wi-Fi tablet or equal, a 3-by-3 color front panel, and 60 hours of training. The solicitation states that the City will not purchase all listed items at once. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four additional one-year extensions. Bidders must submit pricing and provide at least four references for similar products or services performed on a contract basis during the previous three years. The solicitation also requires specified insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, and professional liability when applicable.
