Description
Fayette County is seeking qualifications from transportation engineering consultants to establish a pool of approximately three to five Engineer of Record consultants. The selected consultants will support locally funded transportation projects through task orders, including traffic studies and transportation planning; project management and plan review; intersection, bridge, road, and multi-use path design; surveying; environmental services; construction engineering and inspection; and right-of-way acquisition. Anticipated projects include intersection improvements, road realignment, a multi-use trail, and related survey, permitting, utility coordination, environmental, drainage, and construction-plan services. The contract will run through June 30, 2027, with mutual-agreement annual renewals for up to two additional years, through June 30, 2029. Task orders may be issued through negotiated sole-source assignments, low-bid competition among selected consultants, or proposal-based selection. Responses must include the required company, affidavit, conflict-of-interest, and exceptions forms; a qualifications statement; project-team information; experience and reference projects across the listed service categories; quality-control procedures; and scheduling and resource-availability information. One signed original SOQ and one digital copy on a flash drive must be mailed or delivered in a sealed envelope.
