Description
Cobb County is soliciting bids for an annual, as-needed plumbing services contract covering assessment, repair, maintenance, emergency response, and installation or replacement of plumbing systems and fixtures at County facilities. The scope includes sanitary-line clearing and video inspection, water closets, sinks, water heaters, piping, flush valves, faucets, drains, pressure-reducing stations, gas piping, related fixtures, permitting, job-site cleanup, and disposal of removed materials. The contractor must provide labor, management, materials, tools, and equipment, and emergency calls require an on-site response within two hours. Work must be performed by or under the direct supervision of appropriately licensed Georgia master or journeyman plumbers. Bidders must submit hourly rates by plumber classification and work period, percentage markups for materials/equipment and subcontractors, and a two-hour minimum service or mobilization charge. The solicitation requires completion of the portal vendor questionnaire, including prior-project and reference information, a valid Georgia master plumber license number and class, and business-entity information. The Contractor Affidavit and Agreement must be completed and notarized. The contract has a one-year base term with two one-year renewal options, for a maximum duration of three years. A performance bond and payment bond are required for any delivery order exceeding $100,000.
