Description
The USDA Forest Service is procuring seven new trailers under a firm-fixed-price commercial-products order: two fire cache dry-van semi-trailers, two aluminum utility trailers, one 20-foot tandem-axle flatbed trailer, one stock trailer, and one enclosed snowmobile trailer. The trailers must meet the detailed specifications for dimensions, payload, axles, braking, lighting, construction materials, safety equipment, and warranties. Delivery is required within 120 days after receipt of order, FOB destination, to the addresses identified for the individual line items. Offerors must provide new, approved products with clear traceability to the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized distributor, applicable manufacturer and contractor certificates of conformance, and sufficient descriptive literature or technical documentation demonstrating compliance with each line item's salient characteristics. The Government may make multiple awards by line item and will use a lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation, including acceptable or neutral past performance. Alternate parts are permitted only when they satisfy the required form, fit, function, and approved configuration requirements.
