Description
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is soliciting proposals for a term contract to provide bridge maintenance engineering services. This contract is intended to support MDT's Bridge Maintenance Section in administering the statewide bridge maintenance program and addressing structural and safety needs for state-owned bridges and other transportation structures throughout Montana. Services may include reviewing inspection findings, performing load ratings, developing repair recommendations, preparing sealed repair details and cost estimates, and providing emergency response engineering support. The contract will also be used for staff augmentation during periods of high workload or specialized technical needs. The anticipated term of the contract is three years, from August 2026 through July 2029, with potential for one-year extensions, not to exceed five years total. MDT intends to award up to two agreements, each valued at approximately $1,500,000.
