Description
The City of Laredo Health Department seeks a contractor to develop one integrated, comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The work includes collaborative community engagement; surveys, focus groups, interviews, and listening sessions; collection and management of quantitative and qualitative data; geographic, longitudinal, equity-centered, epidemiologic, health-system, workforce, and economic-burden analyses; identification and prioritization of community health needs, disparities, service gaps, screening gaps, community assets, and contributing factors; and actionable recommendations supporting future community health improvement planning. Required deliverables include a public-facing comprehensive CHNA with executive summary, technical documentation, appendices, and a veterans and military-connected populations section; standalone leadership and public summaries; English and Spanish public materials; prioritization and baseline-to-current comparison tools; workforce and service-capacity analyses; data tables, technical appendices, electronic data and editable source files where permitted; community-engagement documentation; CHIP transition materials; accessible dissemination materials and presentations; and 50 professionally printed and bound copies of the final CHNA. The anticipated project period is 18 months, from January 2027 through June 2028. The contractor is responsible for required translation, accessibility, accommodation, and in-person stakeholder-engagement services.
