Description
The City of Laredo is soliciting bids for construction of the Concord Hills Boulevard Extension from Los Presidentes Boulevard to Lomas Del Sur Boulevard. The base work includes clearing and grubbing, subgrade preparation, reinforced concrete pavement with monolithic curb, concrete sidewalks and ADA ramps, steel casings, storm sewer lines, a box culvert, curb inlets, junction boxes, headwalls, excavation and embankment, traffic control, roadway signs and pavement markings, erosion-control measures, trench safety, conduit crossings, and related mobilization and bonding. The solicitation also includes alternates for a northbound lane addition, a shared-use path, and a full concrete intersection. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, and materials and complete the construction within 130 working days. Bidders must submit unit prices for the base bid and alternatives, acknowledge Addendum No. 1, and provide the required bid guarantee. The apparent successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds and insurance in accordance with the specifications.
