The City of Laredo is soliciting bids for a two-year service contract to provide concrete repair and related restoration services for its Utilities Department, with three additional one-year renewal periods available. Work may include repairing or restoring sidewalks, ADA transition ramps, driveways, pavement within public rights-of-way, curbs and gutters, valley gutters, pavers, bricks and masonry blocks, concrete pads, retaining-wall bases, residential mailbox bases and enclosures, and concrete slabs for flushing devices. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, demolition, excavation, backfilling, compaction, installation, cleanup, and incidental work required. Concrete strength requirements range from 3,000 to 4,000 psi, and work must comply with applicable City of Laredo and Texas Department of Transportation standards. The contractor must be available within 48 hours of notice, capable of working at multiple locations simultaneously, coordinate traffic control and affected City departments, provide trained flaggers and safety devices, notify the Utilities Engineering Division for inspections, and warranty workmanship and materials for one year. Pricing is requested by square foot or linear foot, with estimated quantities across multiple repair categories. Electronic submission through Cit-E-Bid is preferred, while hand-delivered bids are also accepted; mailed, emailed, telegraphic, and facsimile bids are not accepted.
