Description
United Independent School District is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for as-needed, district-wide concrete and asphalt pavement improvements. The scope includes sub-base preparation, demolition, pavement repair and maintenance, patching, resurfacing, new asphalt and concrete pavement, structurally reinforced concrete work, curb and gutter construction or repair, and associated labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals. The contractor must also provide pavement painting and striping, including traffic lines, ADA markings, fire-lane curb painting, contrast striping, and reflective glass-bead applications where required. Work must comply with specified material, thickness, surface-preparation, curing, reinforcement, quality-testing, cleanup, and site-restoration requirements. Pricing is to remain firm for each contract period, and the District may recommend one, multiple, or no vendors. Work will be ordered as needed through purchase orders, with itemized labor, equipment, and material estimates required before each purchase order.
