Description
The City of Laredo is soliciting bids for section-total pricing on mechanical joint butterfly valves, solid sleeves, 22.5-, 45-, and 90-degree elbows, and mega lugs in sizes from 14 to 60 inches. Butterfly valves must meet City of Laredo specifications, fittings must be domestic, and all specified items must be made in America or be an approved equal. Quantities are estimates under an annual supply contract, and the City may purchase more, less, or none of the estimated quantities. Bidders must complete the electronic bid schedule, provide unit prices and proposed delivery times, and submit the required company, conflict-of-interest, non-collusion, discretionary-contracts disclosure, debarment, addendum acknowledgment, and related certification information. The contract will be awarded by section total to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Electronic submission through Cit-E-Bid is required; mailed, emailed, telegraphic, and facsimile bids will not be considered. A 5% local-vendor preference applies to formal and informal requests for bids.
