Description
The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking quotes for fresh produce to supply correctional-facility kitchens. The solicitation covers itemized pricing for fruits and vegetables in specified quantities and units, including apples, bananas, pears, carrots, celery, peppers, squash, potatoes, and other produce listed in the price proposal. Products must be properly labeled as to identity and origin, date coded, compliant with applicable United States Department of Agriculture grade standards, and delivered in appropriate transport containers. Substitutions or alternative products will not be accepted unless they meet the stated equal-specification and approval requirements. Pricing must be firm and all-inclusive, including delivery, shipping, surcharges, and taxes. Deliveries are scheduled for seven Colorado correctional facilities and warehouses from October 5 through October 7, 2026, with facility-specific delivery deadlines. The awarded vendor may be required to provide product brands, nutritional specifications, and samples upon request. The response must include the completed Exhibits A through G, including the statement of work response, vendor information, W-9, price proposal, outside-performance disclosure, non-conflict certification, and consent-to-search authorization.
